Operating as Insurgent Fitness at 1650 S Plaza Way, Suite 5, in Flagstaff, Arizona, this independent strength and martial arts facility grew out of a two-car garage founded by Gym Manager and Online Personal Trainer Michelle and her husband Morgan, who serves as Business Manager and Lead Instructor. The coaching staff also includes Assistant BJJ Instructor Cody, Assistant Youth BJJ Instructor Drew, and Personal Trainer Robert 'Rob'. Martial arts programs feature Adult and Youth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays taught on a 3-week technical cycle using mitts, Thai pads, and heavy bags, and a Cage & Ground MMA program that integrates striking, wrestling, and grappling. Before competing in the MMA cage, prospective fighters are required to compete in the Muay Thai ring and enter a BJJ tournament. The facility also provides 24-hour free-weight gym access with Rogue equipment, a 55-foot turf lane, 4 lifting platforms, 8 squat/bench/deadlift stations, a bookable Sauna & Cold Plunge room, and Personal Training.
