Competitive Edge Combat Sports operates at 111 Technology Place in Florence, South Carolina. The martial arts center delivers Brazilian jiu-jitsu training, ground grappling, and functional self-defense instruction for youth and adult practitioners throughout Florence. The academy is led by Professor Aragao, who trained in Brazil under the Sa lineage in Ceara. Professor Aragao and the instructional staff guide students through core body mechanics, defensive escapes, guard passing sequences, and submission holds. Classes emphasize leverage and timing over sheer physical force, fostering a disciplined mat environment suited for beginner hobbyists and competitive athletes alike. The school structures its offerings into distinct training pathways.
