Hook Fight Co offers martial arts training and combat sports conditioning at 1172 Whittier Highway, Unit 1 in Moultonborough, New Hampshire. Serving the Lakes Region, the academy delivers instruction across Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and cardio kickboxing for children, teens, and adult practitioners. Founder and head jiu-jitsu instructor Rick Mancilla is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt who commenced his training at Paragon BJJ in Santa Barbara in 2005. Mancilla trained under coaches including Ricardo Franjinha Miller and Sean Apperson, and traveled to Sao Paulo to train at Alliance Jiu Jitsu under Fabio Gurgel. Striking instruction is led by head Muay Thai instructor Mike Cote, who holds an Apprentice Instructor rank in Panantukan from the Warrior Arts Alliance. Kickboxing coach Myles Nicolay holds a black belt in Uechi Ryu Karate and brings extensive Muay Thai kickboxing experience. The weekly schedule features all-levels and fundamentals jiu-jitsu classes, youth grappling for ages six to fifteen, bag and pad work, technical sparring, and cardio fitness sessions.
