Soulcraft Martial Arts

Soulcraft Martial Arts operates at 1125 Dixwell Ave in Hamden, Connecticut. Founded by owner and head instructor Brad Wolfson, the academy provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Krav Maga training for adults, teens, and youth practitioners throughout the Hamden community. Instruction at the academy reflects the lineage of Master Marcio "Macarrao" Stambowsky, a red and black belt mentored directly by Rolls Gracie. Classes emphasize practical submission defense, positional control, takedown fundamentals, and tactical ground transitions. Instructors maintain a disciplined and technical training environment focused on safety, partner respect, and progressive skill development. The academy structures its curriculum around distinct training divisions to meet varied martial goals. Core offerings include the Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Program and Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Program, conducted across both gi and no-gi formats. Students practice technical repetitions, positional drills, and supervised live rolling rounds during scheduled class sessions.
