Sodiq Yusuff MMA

Sodiq Yusuff MMA is a fighter-owned mixed martial arts academy in Waldorf, Maryland, founded by active UFC fighter Sodiq "Super" Yusuff. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Yusuff wrestled at Bladensburg High School and trained under UFC Hall of Fame coach Master Lloyd Irvin in Camp Springs before earning his UFC contract on Dana White's Contender Series in 2018 and competing at events including UFC 241, UFC 246, and UFC 300. Rather than splitting kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and wrestling onto separate days with separate coaches, the academy teaches one unified Mixed Martial Arts curriculum integrating striking, grappling, takedowns, clinch work, ground defense, and positional control. New students begin in the introductory Prospect Program as a structured, beginner-friendly foundation. Youth tracks span five age-specific divisions, starting with Parent & Me for toddlers ages 2 to 4 coached by Coach Jazmine, followed by Little Ninjas for ages 4 to 7, Juniors for ages 7 to 12, teen classes, and Adult MMA for ages 18 and up.
