NESF Boston

NESF Boston operates at 965 Massachusetts Ave #102 in Arlington, Massachusetts. The martial arts training center delivers no-gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu instruction, mixed martial arts coaching, and practical self-defense education for practitioners of all experience levels. Instruction is led by head instructor Dave Roy, a third-degree black belt who earned his black belt in 2012 under Chad Beatty within the Renzo Gracie and Ricardo Almeida lineage. Roy directs classes alongside assistant instructors Jake Smith and Alex Tsang. The teaching staff emphasizes positional control, submission grappling mechanics, takedown integration, and defensive transitions within a respectful and structured training atmosphere. The academy organizes its timetable into diverse curriculum pathways. Course offerings include adult no-gi jiu-jitsu, mixed martial arts, women's self-defense, youth jiu-jitsu, and private lessons. Beginners can start through the foundational introduction program, while youth students learn core grappling fundamentals in dedicated kids classes. Prospective members can book an initial trial session through the school.
