Cave Creek Millennia MMA

High Street Jiu Jitsu, formerly associated with Millennia MMA, operates an updated martial arts training center in North Scottsdale, Arizona, serving students across Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Cave Creek. The facility provides mixed martial arts instruction rooted in practical grappling and striking traditions. The academy is co-owned by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Jay Shellhammer, who brings more than twenty years of mat experience and fifteen years coaching professional MMA and Muay Thai athletes. Wrestling instruction is guided by coach Roberto Vargas, a former collegiate wrestler and professional mixed martial artist with a 13-3 career record who trained at Millennia MMA. Class programming encompasses youth jiu-jitsu, adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in both gi and no-gi formats, striking classes incorporating Muay Thai and Dutch kickboxing, and scholastic wrestling. Flexible schedules accommodate both beginners and competitive athletes, with membership options coordinated directly through the academy.
